Heron Pond - Lacawac.

    Lacawac recieves no government tax dollars for support. It does not have a huge endowment. Program and research fees help, but only bring in a small percentage of what Lacawac needs to continue its mission. Lacawac is a true community organization supported by friends, neighbors and community minded businesses. That means - volunteers - and donations. Donations can be directed to a project of your preference, to the endowment fund or made for general Lacawac operations (education, preservation, ecological research), and are completely tax deductable.
