​Visiting

It is my first time here. What can I do? 
We have a small nature exhibit at our Coulter Visitor Center (Hours Vary). Outdoors, we have a variety trails, including 500 acres of walking trails, a pollinator garden and nature play area.

Do you have a map? 
Maps are also located at the Kiosk near our parking area and at the Visitor Center vestibule. 

Are you handicap accessible? 
Lacawac has handicap parking areas at the Visitor Center and the Lodge complex (composting toilet area).  Accessible bathrooms are located at the composting toilets off of the Great Camp Trail and at the Visitor Center.

Are the trails stroller friendly? 
The trails are not conducive to strollers. 

Is there a playground area for children? 
Yes. Our nature play area is designed for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy and is located next to the Visitor Center. 

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome to join in the fun.  We ask that you keep you dog(s) leased when hiking our trails. Please make sure to clean up after your dog.

Programs

Do you have Scout programs? 
Yes. Lacawac offers programs for scouts throughout the year. We also welcome scouts to apply to complete their special scout requirements here with the assistance of staff members.

What programs do you have for adults? 
We offer many daytime and evening adult programs throughout the year. Please refer to our Programs/Event Page for more information.
