Lacawac Preserves and Sanctuaries

Picture
Love birding, hiking ? Are you looking to get away in nature? Lacawac welcomes you to explore our preserves and sanctuaries - the forests, streams, wetlands and meadows that we own and manage in Pike and Wayne Counties.  Located near you in cities, towns and rural areas, some of our preserves and sanctuaries are open to the public, free of charge, so that everyone can explore and experience the natural beauty of the Northern Poconos Region of Pennsylvania.

Whenever you are ready for your next outdoor adventure – whether it is an easy walk through a meadow or an adventurous off-trail hike in a forest – a Lacawac-owned preserve or sanctuary is awaiting your arrival. You need nature and nature needs you, so get outdoors and explore our region from one of the following local nature preserves!
