Reserve Lacawac for your event

Carriage House venue can seat up to 85 people with historic, rustic ambiance

The dining room in rustic Watres Lodge is perfect for meetings or a formal dinner for up to 36 guests.

Turn of the previous century bedroom in historic Watres Lodge.

As space allows, our secluded historic Adirondack-style Lodge, Ice House and Carriage House may be rented by individuals or groups for events such as retreats, weddings, meetings, workshops, musical programs, private parties, corporate retreats and small-scale conferences.

Lacawac also encourages like minded organizations to consider using Lacawac for meetings, seminars, conferences or special events.  Lacawac works especially hard to partner with environmental, ecological and educational clubs, organizations, schools and other non-profits to bring meaningful community events and gatherings to our beautiful preserve.

As a Field Station, Lacawac is dedicated to fostering meaningful ecological and conservation research and therefore places a high priority on hosting research scientists and organizations with an educational focus. Five hundred and ten acres, comprised of several aquatic and terrestrial systems, are available for study and research; lodging and lab space are available, too.

  • Watres Lodge - 9 bedrooms - houses up to 28 guests with full kitchen available
