CLA is a weeklong residential camp for middle and high school students ages 13-17. Participants will be immersed in Conservation activities at the beautiful and historic Lacawac Sanctuary and Field Station. Students will experience hands-on science programs along-side local conservation professionals and resident university researchers. Enjoy a day kayaking the upper Delaware River, visiting a fish hatchery, assisting with bird banding, collecting water samples on Lake Wallenpaupack, analyzing samples in the lab, fishing, leadership activities, campfires and more.
What Does Camp Cost? Recognizing that families have differing abilities to pay, we are introducing a voluntary tiered pricing structure. Rather than raise prices on all families, tiered pricing essentially asks families with greater financial means to consider selecting a rate the more closely reflects the true cost of camp.
