Lacawac hosts scientific workshops and symposiums each year. We strive to provide a venue for scholarly enrichment - from training students on the latest advanced ecological sensors to providing writing retreats for faculty. These workshops are tailored for non-traditional students. as well. The workshops provide opportunities for in-depth study of special topics of relevance to the region and are open to the general public. Special events and occasional one-day workshops and conferences are also offered for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and researchers
