Aquatic plants are vital components of lake ecosystems. This workshop focuses on learning the role of these organisms in lake ecology, how to recognize native and invasive aquatic plants, and ways citizens can help survey Pocono lakes for invasive species.

This workshop includes hands-on aquatic plant sampling, field identification, and training in the PLEON Citizen Science Aquatic Plant Survey protocols.
